Taiwanese actress Ady An called heartless for not visiting tycoon husband in prison

Taiwanese actress Ady An has been keeping a low profile ever since her husband Levo Chan was arrested in Macau, where they were based, in 2022.
Formerly the chairman of Tak Chun Group, the second biggest casino junket operator in Macau, Levo was sentenced to 14 years in prison on charges including illegal gambling, fraud, and money laundering.
Ady, 43, who was said to be distressed over the news, has since stayed out of the public eye and gone radio silent on social media.
However, it was recently reported that contrary to perception that her life was falling apart, Ady is doing quite well.
According to Taiwan’s CTWANT, since mid-2023, she has been seen frequenting luxury residences in Neihu, Songshan, and Xinyi districts of Taipei. She also stayed out all night hanging out with celeb pals like Vivian Sung, Joseph Cheng, and Olympic gold medallist shuttler Wang Chilin.
It was also claimed that Ady has never visited Levo in prison, sparking accusations that she is heartless.
Rumours began circulating that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks and that Ady was distancing herself from her husband as she could be making her showbiz comeback.
However, a source told Next Apple that that was not the case.
According to the source, Ady had planned to travel to Macau to visit Levo, but her family strongly opposed to it for fear that she would be detained and not be able to return to her kids.
Ady relocated to Macau after tying the knot with Levo in 2017. They have two kids: five-year-old son, nicknamed “66”, and four-year-old daughter, Aria.
She has not appeared in a showbiz project in more than seven years, only making a cameo in the 2018 film The Outsiders.
